			<description><![CDATA[ I stumbled across this monolith.  It&#39;s about seven feet tall with a corner piece broken off.

<p>What&#39;s interesting is that the sides are heavily carved but nothing is visible underneath or on top.  Now it was near a 100 degrees and around one

Several years ago, while at the Ashland Ky. library, i read a story about a great battle between several indian nations and the Allegheny nation at a place called sand island, (now called corn island) on the ohio river at Louisville ky. It said that thousands died in this battle on sand island and on the Indiana side of the river. The Allegheny nation were fair skinned, light headed, vary tall being 1 to 2 feet... ]]></description>
