i have no doubt that Lost found a mine . i do not know which mine he found but it appears to be in the Unitas . i have no doubt that when he returned ,said
mine had been dynamited into oblivion. do i know who destroyed his entrance ? no . do i know it was the Carre? no . the only thing that has really rung a bell
is that herb claims the name Shinnob is a Paiute name for one of their gods. the other name is tobats i think, it is also piaute.are there mines ,or
storehouses, that the spanish or the french or someone worked , in piaute country , that had a much older origins? ya , there just might be .do i know the
names of any of them? no. there is a little bit of truth in some of the legends , but it is very hard to wade through all of the disinformation provided by
some of the authors , who care more about book sales than you or I finding one of these. does the federal government lie to the people that pay their salaries
about these kind of sites? hell yes they do. do you ever feel like your efforts are in vain because of that last statement ? it should make you motivated !!!!!

Also 90 % cut and paste. Carré in French literally means a "long square", or rectangle. It refers to a style of building the dates back to around 20 B.C, and used by the Romans. It is an very ancient name too. Check the Maison Carrée at Nîmes

please do not be discouraged by any thing i have said , i told you i have no doubt that you found the mine you were looking for . i just do not know if it was
the Utes, the OGM , the forest service ,the catholic church , or another treasure hunter that blew it up . man i feel your pain , there is nothing like working

but maybe someone else has other Ideas... Don't know if it would help, but there are bats in those tunnels. Can't someone use the Golden Snail approach to prevent destruction? There are also names going back to the original excavation carved there. Historic Value? Bet you could get the Kanab Sherrif on your side if he's the same one that removed those road closed signs after the BLM put em up. Robert

Boy, wouldn't we all like some land on Blind Stream??? Chad Hull passed away this past November, he was the owner of the Rock Creek lodge, (of course their
were other partners) Maybe you can buy into that!! You can't beat Rock Creek, it's very close to Blind Stream, A lot of stories get told up at that
Lodge, good times!!!!

 ... and one that has covered a lot of ground in a short period of time ...
InspectorSmith my apologies for not getting a response to your original question out quicker, time has just
slipped away from me the past couple of weeks, but I do intend to post my answer to the question you posed ... in the meantime everyone needs to remember one
thing here ... the name "Carre-Shinob" is nothing more than a label, a name for a location that most agree exists in the Uinta's ... now just
exactly what that location truly is will be debated for sometime to come, it all depends on what your primary interest is to whether or not the Carre-Shinob is
a mine or a cave ... I'll post my reasons here as to why I believe it is a cave and not a mine at all ...
I've tried to read everyone's posts here and with regards to the location that LostAsLost is referring to as the Carre-Shinob that was blown shut, I know where that location is and who it was that blew it shut ... I'm confident it is not the location we would call the Carre-Shinob, it wasn't the Utes who blew it in and covered it up. It was an important mine however ... and maybe someday will be reopened ... only time will tell with this one ...

do if you found something that had both artifacts and raw resources... i know of a couple people that have taken things, not archaeological , but natural , out
of sites that had both. i am not sure what the letter of the law is regarding something like this scenario . i have asked the question before to groups and it

it sure would be hard to walk away from . something as important as the carre , at least with what i think it is , would be very hard to just photograph and
give to the world with out taking anything. especially since your life would change even just being in the presents of such a thing. the archaeological data
and the fact that if something like it,was proven , it may change history as we know it . at least Floyd has been honest with what he said he would do , and i
have never been tempted , with this particular scenario. but i think there are a few folks that have , they sing "so long take the money and
run"... one of them , may be on the run still , another is a great liar , and i am sure that every time they close there eyes they see it , and probably
spend a great many moments of the day looking over their shoulders. that is probably the reason not much ever gets proven in this business of smash and
grab/////good luck to any one that becomes faced with this test .

There are some laws that just BEG to be broken ! Nobody except ME speeds ? I see a Speed Limit sign of 65---I lock my cruise control on 69 ! I was once in a
town where one of their laws was that you could NOT whistle. Guess who was whistling as I stocked up on supplies. Do a GOOGLE search on silly & out-dated
laws. Do you really think that if you told some "authority" where the Carre is that your children will see that stuff in a museum in a year or two ?
Nope ! Several "authorities" will ship that stuff out of the country and take their early retirement. Anybody visited that museum in New Mexico
where TONS of gold bars were taken out of Victorio Peak ( by our illustrious ARMY ) and are on display to the public ? NOPE ! THAT gold was shipped out
& 2 Generals retired. Read 100 TONS OF GOLD & look forward to the sequel ( in November, I believe ) called THE GOLD HOUSE.

Floyd there has got to be a way to do it despite the way things are . perhaphs media coverage is the route . do you remember the incident in delta a few years
back . a grocery store clerk claimed he found 290 bars of gold and some cavalry rifles or something . the word got out and the town was flooded with reporters
. if the guy would have taken the news crews and the blm to the site i think the public awareness would have made sure the stuff made it to a museum , or at
least the world would know what it was we are up against. i know the laws suck. they are not right in America regarding treasure caches , there is to much room
for someone in high authority to steel these things . i don't think it is a big conspiracy , maybe just a few little ones .

My eye is much better but it will never be 100% again. So-so........... So what is knew about a blizzard in this country. Suppose to be 50% today and tonight.
Cold to say the least.........Its going to heat up one of these days and we will see flooding for sure. No snow melting in the mountains and it is still
building.

I am wanting to get into the mountains and you are talking white water. You get a raft and I will watch you tumbling down the river. I might throw you a tube
if you got one. If I was you I would just float the raft off in a pond and or in parking lots. They will flood this year. Watch at the park.
Clean out you garage and I will bring by some gold bars for you to count this year after working the Signs and Symbols while you play with your raft. Lost |
