Just to let people know, the episode tomorrow (on Channel 7 in Utah) is called 'Aztec massacre', talking about the Spanish and Aztec interaction.
I can't comment too much more on it, other than I plan on recording it. |

In order to keep feeding Huitzilpochtli, the Aztecs warred continuously. Their army was of the utmost importance, and they had several different factions of warriors. The Knights of the Eagle and the Knights of the Jaguar were two such bodies of troops. These were the men who went forth to capture suitable human sacrifices. The priests painted their bodies black in order to symbolize religion and war. Their hair was matted with blood from human sacrifices.
