Fill in the blanks, I know that there is lots of speculation of different 'numbers' that stand for different treasure symbols:

The number 7, as G is the seventh letter of the alphabet, and that stands for GOLD and
some say for camp spots for the seventh day he rested passage in the Bible

the number 5 stands for Silver, I think because it is the next odd number under seven.

The number 8 stands for a treasure collection room or vault.

The numbers 1, 2 and 3 are the three points of a triangle lay out at the Omega, with
the number 2 being the most Northwesterly and the number 3 being the most Southernly
I dont think there is much debate over these numbers, but there are many others
that we would like to have listed here..so if you know the number and its meaning please post for
all of us to learn these vital numbers,, and the Letters to...feel free to add what ever you know about this subject

This is copy and pasted from Dign post..in an attempt to organize pertinent data under this thread..thanks to Dign for posting it originally.

In the books written by Charles Kenworthy we are told about the number "40." He explains how this number can actually be used as a non-number, mainly by confusing you into thinking that 40 feet is a measurement that you must make when in reality the actual distance can be much shorter than 40 feet.
On the reverse side of that thought we have the number 30. This number will be found on paper maps as well as in the field. The number 30 is just the opposite of the 40. In the case of the 30, it is not a measurement that you must make, but instead it is a symbol that you need to locate, specifically, it is the Eagle symbol that you must find. The letters in the word Eagle add up to 30 and, as you can see, this could cause some serious failure on your part if you try to measure 30 feet. The actual Eagle symbol will be located much further away than the 30 feet that you are measuring and you must locate this symbol in order to move successfully to your next step given on your map or given in code at the treasure site.

the number 8 from Dign

The number 8 is an important treasure symbol. It also has many other symbols that are connected to it.
The letter H is the alphabetical equivalent to the 8, and as you already know, the H is an important symbol that represents a tunnel.
The Biblical meaning for the number 8 is "new beginnings." This "new beginning" can also be applied to the New World (as America was called in the "beginning." Also, The New World Order can be applied to this "new beginning" meaning. It is a new world that the Illuminati are trying to create, a new world without God and under their control.
The number 8 has another very important interpretation to it, and many treasure hunters have failed numerous times because of their lack of knowledge about this other meaning. The number 8, when found in the "last steps" of a treasure trail means to "double the number you have been given." Let me give you an excellent example of this "doubling."
At a recent John site, there was a duck rock map found at the location given, and this duck rock told about how the steps that you were following to the treasure are only correct to the sixth step, that the true 7th step had "ducked-out" on you, which left you following a false trail.
After locating the true seventh step, the duck rock now had to be rotated to give you the bell symbol. This bell symbol has a numerical value of 31, which is the number of feet that you need to measure to get to the treasure room....or is the 31 just a lie?
Remember that as we leave the 7th step we are now on our 8th step, and this tells us automatically that we need to "double the final number." But how do we know that this step is the final step? By doubling the 31 feet (that we get from the bell) we get a new number of 62. Now generally, the number 6 is used as a death trap symbol, etc. However, in this case, we need to convert the 6 to its alphabetical "brother," which gives us the letter "F." The "F", in the latter stages of your treasure steps means "final" or "final step."
The 2 (from the number 62) refers us to the letter "B." As I have stated before the "B" is a closed-up 13, the 13 being another symbol of the owl, the owl being the symbol for treasure, or treasure room. So, breaking down the number 62 into these letters gives us a meaning of "this is the final step to the treasure room."
I cannot stress enough the importance of understanding the relationship between the alphabet(s) and the number systems. And this relationship is not limited to the English alphabet and number systems.

A while back I posted a topic concerning the huge number 7 that can be found carved on a mountainside. Kenworthy states that this 7 points to a campsite and I added to that information, saying that this 7 can/will also point you to a fairly massive owl monument that will be found along the base of this mountain. Once at this owl monument you need to pay close attention because within a few dozen (or so) feet from this owl monument you will find other boulders, such as the eagle, etc.
You may remember how I told you to look for a notch in one of these other boulders, and that you need to sight through this notch, which will lead you to a very specific spot on the ground. Now you need to go to this spot and, laying down, put your head on this spot and then look around you. You will find partially buried rocks that give you the information to every treasure room in that area.
I wasn't able to finish this topic due to censorship on the local library computer, in fact, this is the first time I've been allowed to post in quite some time. What I need to tell you is that when spotting these partially rocks (in these information areas), make sure that you have a compass with you so that you can take a compass reading from the point where your head is at. In other words, these types of "information sites" not only give you the exact shape of the area/hill that holds the treasure room, they also give you the exact color of the area/hill, and they also give you exact compass directions and distances to these treasure accumulation rooms (One foot equals approximately 100 yards. This measurement is to be taken from the area where your head was resting, and measure the distance to each partially buried rock.)
Looking closely at each of these partially buried rocks, you will find that they contain all of the vital information that you need to recover this treasure. You will be shown EXACTLY where the opening (to the accumulation room) is located.
These "information areas" can be tough to locate and decipher for novices and pro's alike. But if you have located a number 7 on a mountainside, then simply walk along the face of the mountain and look for the massive owl monument.
You will find that the better you know an area, then the better your chances are of spotting these "information areas" as well as the partially rocks, and recognizing them for what they are.
These info areas are generally found in locations that, while being literally "right there" in front of you, they are concealed by bushes, trees, etc. The owl monument, however, is generally sitting right out there in the open, just waiting for you to recognize it for what it is.
In mountain ranges that stretch out for miles and contain mines up the ying-yang, look for these information areas to be placed all along the range.
This information, as I stated, locates only treasure accumulation rooms. Once you're at one of these rooms you will find the best monuments for pin-pointing the mines that "contributed" to that specific room. These mines can be worth checking out, as they will most likely contain mined ores that just never quite made it to the accumulation room.
In closing, many of you have e-mailed me asking for help with symbols and signs. Feel free to write, I try to help all I can for free, including coming to your site if I happen to be "in the area." The only exception to this is if you are hunting on Indian Reservations. I deal with these people in a much different way. There are far too many treasure sites out there that you can hunt leagally. Stay away from the Reservations. If you're an American Native, I'd be pleased to help if you have a site on a Reservation (these lands are some of the richest you'll ever find).

A good friend of mine came across a map of a gold mine, in Mexico, and it stated to go Norte for 40 Kilometers until you come to a certain shaped mountain, well he went to Mexico and
traveled the stated distance but never say the certain shaped mountain..now we know why he never had a chance of finding the the right mountain without understanding the concept of the number "40"

Well lets track a trail and you can show me my mistakes. I am willing to stand corrected. Certainly as a tracker I have alot to learn.

So lets start tracking: The individual that post as : Golddiver is out of California , dignforit post out of Arizona
Golddiver displays a medal of Bravery--like an individual who's earned the right to wear it
dignfor it--correct me if I am wrong seem a little young to have served in Vietnam
Golddiver has and speaks with the authority of someone who has been through the stone door--and he has conveyed knowledge which will help someone who wants to get in their own stone do do so.
dignforit or Bill James if you like; speaks with the authority about spanish markers like an individual who has seen the Owl, the 7, the Bible verses on the stone, the Duck, the Bell, the Lion, Turtle, the lightning bolts--and I could go on--and he has conveyed his experience to help others--

Now back to the trail we are tracking--if one man works out of Arizona and did not fight in Vietnam and a second man works out of California--and wears of medal of valor/bravery
and both men go out of the way to help others and both men track Spanish Trails----do you really believe they are the same man?????

Barton, I think you misunderstood my post. I'm not tracking anybody and at this point I don't really care who is who. The point I was making is that you were beating up Herb instead of paying attention to his posts. Herb has consitantly pointed out descrepancies in the so called information posted by both goldiver and dign4it. Both skip over the highlighted descrepancies and choose to bash the poster instead in an attempt to deflect from the post itself. If you look at things from a logical standpoint then you would be paying as much attention to what is not posted in a response as to what is.

Keep on trackin', I wish you luck, you're going to need it if you are relying on information from those two.

Mr Barton, personally I don't see how in the world you have any cause to stick your much uninformed nose in this discussion between Goldiver and I. However, since you have you might have just save me the time of answering the two of you. It seems to me that anytime ole digger, by what ever name he choses to use at the time, get jumped on you pop up in his defense. Why is that, are you two related? Thanks, Herb. IMO this poster, using multiple identities to cover his trail and to chearlead himself to feign support, is and always has been merely a fisherman for information. His supposed expertise (speculative theories garnered from the public record) is used as a means of convincing the unwary to 'pm' him with photos, maps, etc. This provides him with a lot of potentially good information at no cost of the time and effort required to earn it himself. When someone publicly confronts him, he merely changes ID's or lays low until he decides to surface later. This strategy is a common internet ploy that probably yields pretty fair returns.

Steve, your comments are correct. He's been hanging out on all of the treasure forums for several years pulling his crap when ever he can get away with it. I told him a year ago that I personally had no problem with him here on this forum as long as he played fair, he just couldn't do that and started putting his crap up here again, well, one thing I can't tolerate is a liar, so I feel the need to point out what his posts really are. I told him that in no uncertain words a year ago. This is a good clean forum for the exchange of thought and ideas, photos and maps and whatever pertaining to treasure and the ancient life of those that came before us. A lot of new people have come and gone since I started posting here back in 02, unlike Goldiver, not 10 years ago when the forum didn't even exist. He'll be back, he can't resist it, he'll just change his nik again and be back, I don't know what it is but I can tell it's him almost from his first new post. Deja vu? I feel that this forum should be the, or at least one of the, foremost treasure forums on the internet for people to come to with hopes of getting an honest answer to a question., when possible. A lot of them are so called "newbies" and might be prone to believe his garbage and have a bad taste in their mouth for ever after when they find they were duped. On one of the smaller forums, long gone now, the Admin posted that he, Goldiver, or what ever name he was using at that time, had contacted him after being told he was going to be banned and he told him, in essence, that he only did it to get a laugh when others commented about how helpful he had been and how great his knowledge was in these matters. It's a big joke to him to see how many people believe him, now that is sad, the workings of a disturbed mind and a mind that I will continue to expose whenever I can.

hi herb , i met a man named bill James . had to build his house out in the valley . it has been about ten years ago . after it was finished i had to go back out there and fix some things . he had managed to piss the framers off during the construction phase and one of them had cut a clean out off flush with the studs and filled it in with perfatape mud , leaving a horrific smell of sewer in the guys front room.i could not help but notice the treasure books on his shelf so we started to talk. he was kind of a cantankerous old fart but we did talk about this and that . he told me he was the great great grandson of Jessy James .... i don't know much about the KGC boys and all of their little family secrets but i have always wondered if this bill james i met was the same bill james that posts here as dign4it . he always talks about the family and their secrets . i wonder if there might be some truth to his own family secrets .in the past i conversed with diggn about something locally i had been working on. he knew a little bit about it but , the trail did not end where he had suggested . the owls were easy to find , but that was not the answer just part of the puzzle . he does have some valid info that i can vouch for but nothing set in stone. now i could be wrong because i have not went and dug it up yet . but i guess what i am trying to say is not all of what he has said is BS . just take it under advisement that not anyone has all of the answers {most of all me }ha

I'm not going to say who is who on here, but I can say that it would be easy for one person to fake being a number different persons on the forum. You can use computers at the library, a friend's house, laptop's at an internet cafe, or any number of other ways to change your IP address. If the moderators were to really investigate I'm sure they could catch where people might goof up faking their forum id's. I think if they do find such fraud the person doing so should be exposed. I doubt you could ban them since all they would have to do is get a different computer and internet provider and set up a new forum name.

It is no wonder there are so many treasures still in the ground, if it is being chased by the likes of this "can't shoot straight gang"! Off track on a red herring, false trails to the max, for the 1001st time, I am not Dign, don't need to be..you guys are befuddled by two guys who live in different states, like Softy said.,from two different generations, with the common denominator of knowing something about treasure signs, from long hard personal research in books,online and in the field. Your powers of overservation sucks. How do you expect to "get into the heads of the Jesuits 300 years ago" when you can't understand that Dign and Goldiver are two different people who have a lot in common.That is all. Your investigative powers also suck. You find examples THAT suit your theories, instead of proving the facts..this will get you no where in the world of treasure hunting, except if you are a arm chair treasure hunters or a nay sayer.

I didn't go anywhere. some of us have to work for a living and I travel all over 11 Western states in my work..

I feel that this forum should be the, or at least one of the, foremost treasure forums on the internet for people to come to with hopes of getting an honest answer to a question., when possible.

it should say Barton says,,,no biggy easy to goof up when

angered...I know from personal experience,,,I have been

told I was various people,,,,anyway my gut feel is usually

pretty good and I have you down as you and rangler which

you put in your posts,,,so no big secret there....

and Dign is stilldiggn and dign4it and not much effort at deception there...

13C= 1,300 feet

I hope this post helps individuals tracking the old Spanish Trail recnogize and OWL and helps them to decode the distance.
Just rebember the that the closer you get to the Treasure room the smaller and more abstract the OWLS will become.

Wow! Those are some owls! 50' high and 200' high and others it looks like.
1. Who (no pun intended) carved those?
2. When?
3. How big of a crew was involved?
4. How long did it take to carve those?
5. Aprx distance to mine or mines from the owls?
6. How rich of a mine(s) where those for someone to spend all that time carving markers?
7. Where these gold or silver mines?
8. What State is this in?
9. Where was all that ore processed?
10. Where was the ore taken to?
11. Where did the workers get their food and water?
12. Did Native Americans ever attack the poor slobs up there carving?
13. Have tools used for carving been found?
14. What about graves of workers?
15. What about campsites? ie: fire pits, discarded bones, other trash etc.

Those huge carvings are so amazing! Please help me understand, why did they go to so much trouble?
Is this like the richest mines(s) the world has ever known?
