After climbing my way back out - I found this truck parked near me. Are they on to me?

Those are some nice KGC trees you've found, good luck.
The logo on that truck is somewhat suspicious isn't it? So Alec, you believe that these pointers are not telling you a direction or bearing down to an accuracy of one degree? I greatly disagree with you on that one. They do tell you down to the degree, but not all by themselves. Lots of things you say on your blog leaves me scratching my head... Boattow |

I think on the blog I was refering to a certain type of pointer. Some pointers do give a specific compass heading but others simply point in a direction to go
and are not intended to take you very far.
In the case of TN's stuff, I'm not sure the rock is a pointer and there is other information on his tree that, in my opinion, precludes it from being a pointer. Am I not expressesing myself correctly on the blog or do you not agree with what I say? It would seem that if you are a big believer in the KGC millions/billions then we already disagree.
It's not what you look at, but what you see.

Yes, we disagree about the KGC.

you are speaking a language there that would be a complete shot in the dark for me but i do like your rock ... I would take a second look at that for sure ,
maybe even look for some more of them. it might be natural , but then again , you might just find something you were not expecting when you started out on this
little adventure. What is with the truck ???? who is that ???? around here they just have government plates and like to write tickets for being where they
don't think you should be. you know they might not be on to you , they might just be looking for the same thing as you. hmmmmm

Hey | ||

I don't think that rock has much to do with my search - but it sure looked cool!
That tree has all kinds of info on it. The Stars and Bars I think is way too cool! I need to get a better picture of it next time. The person driving the Gov. truck is SNEAKY! LOL - I never saw him - just the truck. |

Real interesting. wonder what the history of that trail is. Me..i would take the simple router - follow the arrows, and check out the ridges and streams and
gullies to see if the topo carving matches anything.

I've been | ||

Following this trail around for the better part of the year. Done wore out my hiking boots too!
There are some other things I've found out there, and I have learned a bit about the history. But those will stay with me until I reach the end - of what seems like an endless trail...LOL The folks that put this stuff out there must be having a good laugh - watching me hike over all kinds of crap

Hi TN the one thats 16 ft. up looks like a confederate flag to me with a name under it. Probably done from horse back.. The one that looks like a topo I would
guess to be fairly correct assumption. Topos are done in grids +++ and it may be showing a confederate camp or mine. I have seen the Spanish use this symbol
more than once in a simular way. Are you in an area that is noted for the Spanish??? If so I would be happy to give you my oppinion on the spanish meaning. I
would definately get a Topo map of the area to start. Either way you might just find something old... Just out of curiosity what direction is N S E W on the
topo looking Pic??
|
|||
Tnwoods |
Yep | ||
|
That is the old Stars and Bars carved up there. The topographical one is if you are looking due North.
I actually think this might just be Spanish. I just don't think the Spanish hid it. I do think the Confederates found it. |

Hey dupsounds | ||

I think that is a little high to be on horseback. I think some one got hoisted up there. And yes - that is a name. I need to hoist myself up there to really
get a good look at it. I'm not real sure what it is, hard to tell from the ground. Sure is cool looking - ain't it!
I also think - from what I have learned this year - that the Spanish signs were later used by everyone to some degree. So I would not be surprised if this site has some Spanish looking symbols., or grids. Lord knows - this past year I have looked at every map known to man on the area! I have not posted everything I've found. I will when and if I ever get to the end of this trail. I have posted things I thought were cool, and by themselves are useless to anyone else.. I just think that Stars and Bars is the coolest thing I've found so far. Kind of verifies who I thought left the clues in the first place. By all means - give me you take on the grid carving. When you are looking at it you are facing due North. I'd be interested in seeing what you think. |

Hi TN I studied this for a while and this is the one way that makes the most sense to me as far as a Spanish interpretation> I will add a pic of a drawing
to show what I mean First symbol is the > meaning 45 degrees also greater than. Next under this symbol you have the K wich is 20 degrees So the greater than
= 65 degrees Next you have the streched looking S which I would guess to be the water or River symbol. Under that you have the abnormal C wich would be 100 or
possably 1000 Veras. Next 3 of these symbols are touching the + which is the Symbol to change course this may or may not mean you will find a triangle of trees
or stones. Next I noticed that the abnormal C the top line of it is also at aproxamately 65 Degreese which would support the meaning of the other 2 symbols.
and the C is the only symbol not touching the change course symbol and the only one that would give a distance. So in my opinion I would travel 100 Veras 65
Degrees NE to an area thay may have water or 1 pt. to a triangle. possibly all 3pts to a triangle. But I could be way off on this. These symbols dont exactly
match up perfectly to knowen spanish symbols but if Some one used the same concept they might just jive for you. Hope this helps you in some way. I still think
if this doesnt help this is some kind of Directional.
