bob631 the symbol on the cave wall looks like a poke(sack tied with a string) these were used to carry gold dust, nuggets,coins,etc.Check for another indicator
pointing the way, maybe in a crevice. Hope this helps.

Looks like the symbol for "treasure Jar" find it in Carsons book of codes and even Hawkeyes Field Notebook page 23! I have found same sign in the
Superstitions and elsewhere in the West. It's a good sign, while it doesnt say, who where , what and how, just that treasure is here..somewhere look for
other signs! goldiver
