Hi fellow treasure hunter,
Can you help me interpret this carving on a boulder which I believe are rock markers of important Japanese treasure.
I took this photo here in the Philippines in a place believed to be Japanese Detachment camp during the Second World War II (1938-44). Sorry, but I cant give you the location for security reason.
Is this a man-made rock marker? What can you read from it. It has what seems to be an X, Y, or A. What does a semi-circle or a C with an intersecting slash mean or represent? By the way, the length of the line segment from its intersection with what seem to be a semi-circle up to the intersection of two lines forming what seem to be an Y or X is about 16.5cm or 6.5 inches. Both the upper segments of the Y or X are 24 cm. in length.
This figure is engraved at the east side of an oblong boulder about 3 to 4 feet in diameter. And the longest line segment of the carving is positioned in such a way it is nearly parallel to the magnetic North-South line.
